Motorola Can't Add ITunes, ICloud To Apple IP War: Judge

Law360, New York (December 6, 2011, 3:25 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge on Tuesday rejected Motorola Mobility Inc.'s bid to bring three more Apple Inc. products — iTunes, the iPhone 4S and the iCloud — into its heated patent war against Apple over wireless and smartphone innovations.

U.S. District Judge Ursula Ungaro on Tuesday granted Apple's motion to strike Motorola's latest infringement claims, rebuffing Motorola's arguments that the court's June deadline to submit its contentions was not final.
