Mayer Brown Targeted In Refco Examiner’s Report

Law360, New York (July 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The examiner of Refco Inc.’s bankruptcy case has unveiled his report, identifying firms and others likely to be sued over the collapse of the commodities brokerage.

In Joshua R. Hochberg’s report released Wednesday, the court-appointed examiner recommended that law firm Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw LLP, outside auditor Grant Thornton LLP and accountant Ernst & Young LLP face lawsuits for professional negligence.
