PSEG Sells Denver Skyscraper To Brookfield For $215M

Law360, New York (December 9, 2011, 5:27 PM EST) -- Power company Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. has sold a Denver skyscraper for $215 million to a group of investors led by Brookfield Office Properties Inc., which plans to refurbish the property, often called the Qwest Tower, the companies said Friday.

Newark, N.J.-based PSEG noted the 54-story skyscraper building — the Mile-High City's second largest — located at 1801 California Street was sold in as-is condition, and New York-based Brookfield said it planned to spend money to "reposition the property as a market-leading asset."
