Insurer Can't Keep Baby Formula Case In Mass.

Law360, New York (December 12, 2011, 2:24 PM EST) -- Over the objections of National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, a Massachusetts federal judge on Friday transferred to Indiana federal court the insurer's case against infant formula maker Mead Johnson & Co., in which the insurer claims it need not indemnify Mead in several underlying false advertising class actions.

The case will be transferred to the Southern District of Indiana, where National Union is pursuing a related case against Mead.
