4th Exec Jailed For Illicit Human Testing Of Bone Cement

Law360, New York (December 13, 2011, 5:37 PM EST) -- A fourth former Synthes Inc. executive was sentenced to prison Tuesday for his role in an alleged conspiracy to conduct unapproved clinical tests of bone cement, tests in which prosecutors say three people died on the operating table.

U.S. District Judge Legrome D. Davis sentenced Richard E. Bohner, the senior executive with ultimate responsibility for regulatory compliance, to eight months in prison and ordered him to pay a $100,000 fine.
