Philips, Seoul Bury Hatchet In LED Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 5:33 PM EST) -- A California federal judge signed off Tuesday on a settlement for a case in which Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV and Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd. accused each other of infringing patents for light-emitting diodes.

U.S. District Judge Andrew J. Guilford of the Central District of California signed off on the dismissal the same day the parties filed their motion to dismiss the case due to the settlement.
