PG&E Admits Liability For San Bruno Gas Pipeline Blast

Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 2:04 PM EST) -- Pacific Gas & Electric Co. said Tuesday that it would assume liability for a massive pipeline explosion in San Bruno, Calif., that killed eight people and injured dozens of others in September 2010.

PG&E said in a statement that it would take financial responsibility for the disaster and promised to compensate all victims in hopes of winding down more than 90 lawsuits over the pipeline explosion in California court.
