Disney Bids Adieu To 'Hoop-Dee-Doo' IP To-Do

Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 3:39 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge on Wednesday tossed a copyright dispute between the parks and resorts wing of Walt Disney Co. and two music publishers over the 1950s-era song “Hoop-Dee-Doo” after the two sides said they wished to end their feud.

U.S. District Judge Anne C. Conway signed off on an order dismissing the case after defendant Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc. and plaintiffs Frank Music Corp. and Amy-Dee Music Corp. filed a stipulation asking her to dismiss the case with prejudice.
