Dynegy, PSEG Units Reach Truce Over Plant Leases

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 2:16 PM EST) -- Dynegy Holdings LLC and several Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. units reached a settlement Tuesday in their dispute over Dynegy's bankruptcy, which PSEG had claimed was a sham aimed at getting the company out of leases and unfairly benefiting investors.

Under the deal, reported to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in an 8-K filing Wednesday, the two leases at issue will be terminated, PSEG unit Resources Capital Management Corp. will get a $110 million unsecured claim in the bankruptcy, and Dynegy will give RCM a...
