Cheniere Unit Launches Texas Liquefaction Project

Law360, New York (December 16, 2011, 4:29 PM EST) -- A subsidiary of Houston-based Cheniere Energy Inc. is developing a liquefied natural gas export facility at one of its existing natural gas production sites, Cheniere announced Friday.

Cheniere said that its wholly owned subsidiary Corpus Christi Liquefaction LLC has started work on the LNG export terminal project at its production facility in San Patricio County, Texas.

Financial terms of the project were not disclosed. A Cheniere spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
