Zyprexa Suits Weigh Heavily On Eli Lilly's Future

Law360 (July 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly & Co. recently settled a slew of claims related to its blockbuster schizophrenia drug Zyprexa, its battle with consumers who allege the drug company did not warn them about Zyprexa's side effects is far from over.

Zyprexa, a brand name version of olanzapine, is an atypical antipsychotic prescription medication used to treat symptoms of various psychiatric conditions, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
