Halliburton Denies Destroying Deepwater Evidence

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 4:21 PM EST) -- Halliburton Energy Services Inc. on Monday denied allegations by BP PLC that it destroyed evidence in the multidistrict litigation over the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and called BP’s demand for sanctions baseless.

BP accused Halliburton earlier this month of throwing out an array of materials, including unfavorable tests on cement it used in the Macondo well and computer modeling it performed after the explosion in April 2010.
