Interim Class Counsel Named In LCD Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (July 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Putting an end to a long-running battle, a California judge on Friday appointed four attorneys to serve as interim plaintiffs' lead counsel in a purported class action alleging price-fixing among TFT-LCD manufacturers.

Francis O. Scarpulla, of Zelle Hofman Voelbel Mason & Gette LLP, and Joseph Alioto, of the Alioto Law Firm, will represent indirect purchasers of LCD screens. Bruce Simon, of Pearson Simon Soter Warshaw & Penney LLP, and Richard Heimann, of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, will represent direct purchasers.
