Chartis Units Seek $1.6M For Kaiser Asbestos Claims

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 1:53 PM EST) -- Two Chartis Inc. affiliates on Wednesday claimed Clearwater Insurance Co. owes them more than $1.6 million under separate reinsurance agreements to cover excess payments they made to Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Co. for asbestos exposure claims.
