Rubbermaid Fights Duties On Aluminum Mop Handles

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 6:17 PM EST) -- Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLC lodged a complaint with the U.S. Court of International Trade on Thursday, maintaining that its Quick-Connect mop products should not be covered by anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on Chinese aluminum extrusions.

The complaint contends that the U.S. Department of Commerce erred when it determined that the duties applied to Rubbermaid's Quick-Connect frames, Quick-Connect handles, and Quick-Connect mop handles because the products were not a final finished good at the time of importation.
