PwC Paid Female Director Less Than Male Colleagues: Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (December 23, 2011, 1:55 PM EST) -- A former chief compliance officer at a division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP filed a sex discrimination lawsuit Wednesday in Texas court, accusing the accounting giant of paying her less than male counterparts and then firing her when she complained.

Attorney Joni D. Ffrench claims she received a positive performance review after she took on CCO responsibilities for the Houston office of PwC Corporate Finance LLC in 2006, and that PwC’s shifting explanations for her termination in 2009 are a pretext.
