Lawyer Balks At Psychiatric Tests In DLA Piper Suit

Law360, New York (July 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The plaintiff in a race and gender discrimination case against law firm DLA Piper appealed two rulings on motions in her case, asking the appellate court to reverse the district court's ruling that she undergo psychiatric and forensic tests.

Charlene Morisseau, a black female former attorney at DLA Piper, has alleged that she was discriminated against and harassed while at the firm, causing her to suffer loss of pay and emotional distress.
