Sheppard Mullin In Fee Dispute After SEC Settlement

Law360 (July 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP has fought back against a former investment manager at Putnam Investment Management LLC who refuses to pay more than $2.4 million in legal fees after the firm helped him settle federal securities fraud charges.

The law firm on Tuesday opposed Omid Kamshad's motion to dissolve a Massachusetts federal court's order of attachment holding more than $2.4 million in both his Salomon Smith Barney bank accounts and Putnam accounts.
