Dow Unit Hit With CERCLA Suit Over W.Va. Site

Law360, New York (January 3, 2012, 2:01 PM EST) -- MPM Silicones LLC on Friday filed a Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act suit against Dow Chemical subsidiary Union Carbide Corp. in New York, claiming it failed to pay its fair share to clean up a former chemical manufacturing site in West Virginia.
