Law360, New York (January 3, 2012, 6:38 PM EST) -- Worley Catastrophe Response LLC, a disaster claims company hired by BP PLC after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, settled on Tuesday with a putative class of claims adjusters claiming the company had paid them less than they were due under an employment contract.
In a joint motion to dismiss filed in Louisiana federal court, Worley and the group of claims adjusters asked the court to approve a confidential opt-in settlement that would disburse funds to the plaintiffs. The settlement was not made public.
