Facebook Asks To Dismiss Rival Site's Suit

Law360 (July 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Popular social networking site Facebook Inc. will try to convince a court next week to toss a suit that claims Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg stole ideas and code from a rival site run by three of his former Harvard classmates.

The lawsuit, first filed in 2004 by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss and Divya Narendra, accuses Zuckerberg of stealing the source code, design and business plan of ConnectU when he briefly worked as a programmer for them in 2003.
