Ex-King Pharmaceutical Employee Loses Bid For Fees

Law360 (July 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court has blocked a former King Pharmaceuticals Inc. employee from seeking additional attorneys’ fees for his efforts in bringing a wide-scale whistleblower suit against the Bristol, Tenn.-based brand-name drug maker.

On Monday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed a lower court’s decision that Edward Bogart was not entitled to an additional share of the settlements involving King and most of the U.S. states.
