Court Backs Walden's Courthouse Security Contract Award

Law360, New York (January 4, 2012, 1:30 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims last week upheld the U.S. Marshals Service's award of a $166 million contract to Walden Security for security services at the Fourth Circuit courthouse, ruling the company did not have to disclose a U.S. Department of Labor investigation.

Judge Susan G. Braden denied Akal Security Inc.'s bid for judgment on the administrative record and dismissed the security provider's complaint in an order and memorandum opinion filed Dec. 29.
