Prudential Pays $1M To End Claims Managers’ FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (January 4, 2012, 6:38 PM EST) -- The Prudential Insurance Co. of America on Tuesday settled for $1.02 million Fair Labor Standards Act claims brought in Maine by a class of disability claims managers who alleged they were forced to work off the clock.

The suit was dismissed on Tuesday after U.S. District Judge D. Brock Hornby granted final approval to the settlement on Dec. 23.
