Righthaven Is Holding Up Liquidation, Receiver Says

Law360, New York (January 4, 2012, 4:30 PM EST) -- The receiver liquidating assets of Righthaven LLC to satisfy a judgment against the copyright-holding company asked a Nevada federal judge for guidance on Tuesday, saying the company has been uncooperative with her efforts to take control of its trademarks and copyrights.

U.S. District Judge Philip M. Pro appointed Lara Pearson as receiver in the case in December, with orders to auction off any of Righthaven’s property, intangible or otherwise, including its website domain name, copyrights, trademarks and any physical property, according to court documents.
