Novartis Chastised For Litigation Delay

Law360, New York (July 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A pair of plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation involving bone cancer drugs Aredia and Zometa has asked a judge to punish pharmaceutical giant Novartis Corp. for allegedly wasting their time and resources.

In papers filed Sunday with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, Joan and Armand Lecompte accused Novartis of intentionally delaying their case by removing it from New Jersey Superior Court and then not agreeing to remand it back.
