Schein Buys Oak Hill's Stake In Vet Supply Unit For $155M

Law360, New York (January 5, 2012, 4:17 PM EST) -- Private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners has ended its investment in Henry Schein Inc.’s animal health subsidiary, selling its stake in the Ohio-based veterinary supply business to Schein for $155 million, the companies announced Thursday.

Schein, a leading health care products and services provider based in Melville, N.Y., acquired Oak Hill’s stake in Butler Schein Animal Health Supply Inc. for $155 million, giving Schein 71.5 percent ownership of the animal health business, according to the statement.
