SEC Eyes Top Assurant Execs

Law360 (July 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Specialty insurance provider Assurant Inc. revealed Tuesday that the company's chief executive officer and chief financial officer have received Wells Notices from the Securities and Exchange Commission related to an ongoing investigation into certain insurance products.

Robert B. Pollock, president and chief executive officer of Assurant, and Philip Bruce Camacho, the company's chief financial officer, have both been put on administrative leave by the company's Board of Directors, pending further review by board members.
