Metabyte Says Ex-Workers Stole Trade Secrets For Nvidia

Law360, New York (January 5, 2012, 8:10 PM EST) -- Technology services company Metabyte Inc. sued rival Nvidia Corp. and several former employees Wednesday in a California federal court, alleging its former workers stole computer source code and leaked it to their new employer, Nvidia.

Metabyte claims that between 1994 and 1997, it hired David Cook, Viatcheslav Gostrenko, Andrei Osnovich, Michael Yaroslavtsev and Mikhail Krivega as software developers, who all subsequently helped develop Metabyte’s 3-D stereoscopic technology and device driver technology.
