Vioxx MDL Attys Shut Out Of $950M DOJ Settlement

Law360, New York (January 6, 2012, 2:40 PM EST) -- The plaintiffs' attorneys in multidistrict litigation over Merck & Co.'s painkiller Vioxx on Tuesday failed to convince a Louisiana federal judge that they should get part of a separate $950 million settlement between Merck, the federal government and several states that was negotiated outside the MDL.
