NinjaVideo Co-Founder Gets 2 Years For Pirating Videos

Law360, New York (January 6, 2012, 6:12 PM EST) -- A Virginia federal judge on Friday handed down an almost two-year prison sentence on copyright infringement and conspiracy charges to a co-founder and administrator of the film and television downloading website NinjaVideo.net.

U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Trenga ordered Hana Amal Beshara, 30, to serve a concurrent 22-month prison term for one count each of conspiracy and criminal copyright infringement, along with two years of supervised release and 500 hours of community service.
