Judge Demands To See Deal In Lucky Brand OT Case

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 2:29 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge refused Monday to dismiss a putative overtime collective action against Lucky Brand Dungarees Stores Inc. and told the parties to file a copy of their settlement agreement or demonstrate why it shouldn’t be publicly available.

U.S. District Judge William P. Dimitrouleas signed off on an order denying the parties' joint stipulation of dismissal without prejudice, noting that the parties failed to present their agreement to the court for approval.
