Hostess May Have 2nd Ch. 11 Filing In The Oven

Law360, New York (January 9, 2012, 9:23 PM EST) -- Hostess Brands Inc. may file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time as early as this week after the Twinkies brand owner’s sales failed to make up for the soaring costs of labor and sugar, according to Monday news reports.

The Irving, Texas-based bread and snacks maker, which owns other iconic brands including Wonder Bread and Ho Hos, has been struggling since it exited its previous bankruptcy in February 2009, and now has more than $860 million in debt, The Wall Street Journal reported,...
