Deckers Settles With Dr. Jay's Over Fake Uggs

Law360, New York (January 11, 2012, 5:54 PM EST) -- Deckers Outdoor Corp. has settled a lawsuit against a shoe retailer accused of selling fake Ugg boots in New York City stores, the company said Tuesday.

The lawsuit, filed in October, alleged Dr. Jay’s shoe stores were selling the counterfeit boots. A temporary restraining order was issued by the court Oct. 7, prohibiting Dr. Jay’s from selling any Ugg products, which was followed by a preliminary injunction issued Nov. 10, Deckers Outdoor said.
