WTC Rescue Workers Sue Recovery Fund, Mayor

Law360, New York (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three former debris-removal workers at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan have sued the administrators of a $1 billion insurance fund established by the federal government, as well as several others, including New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The plaintiffs are demanding that the fund compensate them for medical treatment they say they've had to undergo because of their work in the months after Sept. 11.
