Xerox Fights Sharp Filing Delay After Pact Crumbles

Law360, New York (July 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Xerox Corp. has refused to give Sharp Corp. more time to file court papers in an infringement suit over a slew of patents for copiers and printers, claiming a two-week extension would undermine a settlement which the companies had thought was agreed upon weeks ago.

A settlement agreement between the companies was approved by company leaders earlier this month before attorneys pulled the deal while finalizing the agreement.
