Feds Drop Charges Against Stryker Sales Manager

Law360, New York (January 17, 2012, 5:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. government on Tuesday asked a Massachusetts federal judge to dismiss its claims against a former Stryker Biotech LLC sales manager in its case accusing the company and four employees of illegally marketing a bone surgery device.

Asking U.S. District Judge George O'Toole Jr. to dismiss all claims as to defendant David Ard with prejudice, the government said dropping the claims would be “in the interest of justice.” Ard has assented to the motion.
