New IT Security Requirements For GSA Contractors

Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 3:07 PM EST) -- On Jan. 6, 2012, the U.S. General Services Administration issued a final rule (77 Fed. Reg. 749 (Jan. 6, 2012)) requiring all prime contractors and subcontractors providing the GSA with information technology supplies, services or systems to submit an IT security plan outlining compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations.
