Ohio Road Project Contractors Misled US: Suit

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 2:39 PM EST) -- A former union official claims in a suit unsealed Wednesday that a union contractor and subcontractor on a $220 million Cleveland transportation project misled the federal government about their leadership structure and that another subcontractor underpaid its workers.

Jeffrey Milum, a former business agent for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 18, brought the False Claims Act suit in April in Ohio federal court, targeting Perk Co.
