Commerce To Probe Asian Wind Tower Dumping Claims

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 4:30 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce will look into allegations raised by a group of wind tower producers that Chinese and Vietnamese competitors are dumping their goods on the domestic market, the agency announced Thursday.

Commerce said it was launching an investigation to consider whether the Asian wind tower producers are selling their goods on the American market at prices so low as to shut out domestic manufacturers of the structures.
