SEC Winding Down Case Against Money Manager Starr: Atty

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 8:07 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is preparing to wrap up its outstanding case against imprisoned money manager to the stars Kenneth Ira Starr, a commission attorney told a federal judge Thursday.

“We are waiting to receive consent judgment papers back from him,” the SEC's Todd Brody told U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein, saying the SEC anticipates Starr will settle.
