Charges Against Stryker, Sales Staff Dropped For $15M

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 8:46 PM EST) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Thursday agreed to dismiss all criminal charges against Stryker Biotech LLC and three of its sales managers following Stryker's payment of $15 million to end a criminal case alleging illegal marketing of a bone surgery device.

U.S. District Judge George A. O'Toole Jr. agreed to dismiss all counts against the company and William Heppner, Jeffrey Whitaker and David Ard, responding to government motions filed throughout the week seeking to end the suit.
