Microsoft Tries To Strike Patent Claims Against Vista

Law360 (July 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. urged a federal court to push aside patent infringement claims against its Windows Vista software by lambasting a Texas-based patent holding company for allegedly not providing enough details in its claims against the operating system.

In its latest court filing Thursday, Microsoft claimed that Computer Acceleration Corp. needed to include individual claim charts regarding the Redmond, Wash.-based company's Windows XP and Windows Vista programs to comply with patent law.
