Struggling Pinnacle Airlines Says Ch. 11 Possible

Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 6:42 PM EST) -- Regional flight operator Pinnacle Airlines Corp. on Friday pointed to Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as a potential option to improve its financial position, which the company said would continue to worsen “at an alarming rate” without immediate action.

Pinnacle President and CEO Sean E. Menke raised the possibility of Chapter 11 on Friday in a letter to employees, which was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
