AMR To Thin Management, With More Cuts Possible

Law360, New York (January 24, 2012, 5:27 PM EST) -- The head of American Airlines Inc.'s bankrupt parent company AMR Corp. told employees Tuesday that it would trim its management team as part of a restructuring and hinted at more job cuts in the future.

"The redesign starts at the top and will encompass the entire management and support staff team," AMR CEO Tom Horton said in a letter to employees.
