Warrior Battles Easton Over Lacrosse Stick Patent

Law360, New York (January 26, 2012, 5:36 PM EST) -- Athletic equipment maker Warrior Sports Inc. on Wednesday accused rival Easton-Bell Sports Inc. in Michigan federal court of willfully infringing one of its lacrosse stick patents.

Warrior claims that Easton's Launch and Stealth HS lacrosse stick heads violate its patent and that the company has been inducing others to infringe Warrior's intellectual property.

The complaint — filed in the Eastern District of Michigan — seeks compensatory and treble damages, as well as interest, attorneys' fees, costs and a permanent injunction barring Easton from infringing the patent...
