State Farm Wins Provider Reimbursement Fight In 11th Circ.

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 8:02 PM EST) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday upheld the dismissal of Coastal Neurology Inc.'s putative class action accusing State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. of unlawfully limiting Florida health care providers' reimbursements.

Coastal Neurology was unable to persuade the appeals court that a Florida federal judge had erred when she denied the company's motion for class certification and then tossed the suit for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
