Ex-CDC Official Gets 4 Years For Contract Bribes

Law360, New York (January 26, 2012, 6:06 PM EST) -- The former head manager of the Cincinnati offices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was sentenced Wednesday to four years in federal prison for taking bribes in exchange for construction contracts.

U.S. District Judge Judge Herman J. Weber also ordered David T. Mersch to pay a $1,500 fine and forfeit the $189,181 that he allegedly accepted from Entek Mechanical Corp., a California-based construction company.
