UBS Trader Pleads Not Guilty To Fraud Charges

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 12:48 PM EST) -- The purported rogue trader who UBS AG says cost it $2.3 billion in losses reportedly pled not guilty Monday in London to fraud and false accounting charges.

London-based trader Kweku M. Adoboli has been accused of the unauthorized trades, and was arrested Sept. 15 by U.K. authorities. Adoboli, 31, didn't give any reasoning for his plea on the two counts of fraud by abuse of position and two counts of falsifying accounts against him, according to the New York Times, which reported that he faces up...
