Ex-Pa. County Commissioners Face Prison For Corruption

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 6:51 PM EST) -- Two former Pennsylvania county commissioners convicted of bribery, extortion and other corruption charges in connection with county contracts were sentenced Monday to seven and 11 years in prison, respectively, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

U.S. District Judge Richarad A. Caputo handed ex-Lackawanna County Commissioner Robert Cordaro an 11-year sentence for taking money in exchange for doling out lucrative county contracts, while ex-Commissioner Anthony J. Munchak received seven years.
